Por qué los archivos ODP son difíciles de corromper como es debido
OpenDocument Presentations bundle slides, master pages, images and embedded media into one ZIP package. Impress will often salvage a deck from a partially damaged archive, showing the slides it can still read, which makes container-level damage the only reliable approach.
Qué destruye esta herramienta
- The archive index. Local file headers, the central directory and the EOCD record are all destroyed.
- content.xml. The part containing every slide, layout and text frame loses its entry header.
- Pictures/ entries. Embedded images and media stored inside the package become unreachable.
- The mimetype marker. The uncompressed ODF mimetype entry is overwritten, so the format is not detected.

Cómo corromper un archivo ODP

- Deja el nivel en Standard salvo que quieras un daño parcial (Light) o necesites derrotar al software de recuperación (Heavy).

- Descarga el resultado. De forma predeterminada conserva el nombre de archivo y la longitud en bytes originales.

Will Impress show any slides?
No. Slide content lives in content.xml inside the package, which becomes unreachable once the archive index is destroyed.
Are embedded videos affected?
Yes. Media embedded in the deck sits inside the same container and is destroyed with it.
Does the deck keep its filename?
Yes, by default. The download uses the exact original name and byte length.
Is this the same as the PPTX tool?
The mechanism is similar since both are ZIP packages, but the parts targeted differ. Use the PowerPoint corrupter for .pptx.
